All boys and girls in grades 6 to 12 who are members of Christ the King Church are invited to participate as Altar Servers at the Saturday, Sunday, weekday and Holy Day Masses.

Pope John Paul II said that Altar Servers are “ . . . servants of Jesus Christ, the eternal high priest.
Therefore, you are called in a particular way to be young friends of Jesus.”

Training sessions are required and are conducted in the Fall of each year.  The following altar server training sessions are currently scheduled:

Altar Server Training Sessions
All new servers (6th grade and up) must attend one of the following sessions:
Saturday, August 28 – 9:30 a.m.
Sunday, August 29 – 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 4 – 9:30 a.m.
Sunday, September 5 – 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 11 – 9:30 a.m.
Sunday, September 12 – 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 18 – 9:30 a.m.

All current  servers must attend one 0f the following refresher training sessions:
Saturday, September 11 – 9:30 a.m.
Sunday, September 12 – 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 18 – 9:30 a.m.

Any server unable to attend one of the listed sessions may contact
Tom Barr at 868-1370 to request the scheduling of additional training.
