Electronic Fund Transfer
Support Your Parish – Sign Up for E.F.T.!
E.F.T. (Electronic Fund Transfer) is a simple and easy way to make monthly or bimonthly offertory contributions by having your donations drafted from your checking or savings account on a regular and consistent basis. Your donation will be recorded in your parish contribution record as it always has been. In addition, you will see the debit amount and date of debit reflected on your bank statement.
This method is a convenient way to consistently remember your church’s life and ministry. This method also helps the church by ensuring that our home parish is not forgotten when the summer months draw families away for vacation.
It is our hope that you would prayerfully consider making your generous gift by using this convenient method. You may indicate 1st Collection, Vision or both. If you would like to participate in the Christ the King E.F.T. program, please complete the Electronic Fund Transfer form. Download the EFT Giving Form and Instructions from this link (PDF File – Acrobat Reader required to view file): EFT EnrollmentForm
Return the form to the church finance office by mail, drop-off or place it in the collection basket in an envelope marked “EFT.” You may stop any automatic payment by notifying us at least five (5) business days prior to the payment date. If at any time you have questions about your donation, you may contact Jackie Kaufman at 225.6774 Ext 224, .
Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
How often will the transfers be made?
What if I want to make changes or stop using EFT?
My family likes to put something into the offering basket each week. Is that still possible?
E.F.T. is the process of the electronic transfer of money from one account to another. By using secured software, we can transfer the designated funds.
Who can participate in E.F.T.?
E.F.T. can be used by any member of Christ the King parish. E.F.T. funds can come from a checking or savings account and from any bank designated by you.
How often will transfers be made?
The following withdrawal options are available:
Option 1: Semi-monthly gift to the 1st Collection and a Semi-monthly gift to the Vision fund, charged to my bank account on the 5th and 15th of each month.
Option 2: Monthly gift to the 1st Collection and a Monthly gift to the Vision fund. I understand that this amount will be charged to my bank account on the 5th or 15th of each month(choose one).
E.F.T. withdrawals will be made twice each month, the 5th or the 15th of each month. If the 5th or 15th falls on a weekend or a holiday, the funds will be transferred on the next banking day. E.F.T.’s will be transferred EVERY month of the year.
What if I want to make changes or stop using E.F.T.?
The Fund Transfer Form which you will complete at the time of sign-up, can be re-submitted at any time to change the amount of giving, bank or bank account, or even discontinue E.F.T. You may stop or change any automatic payment by notifying us at least five (5) business days prior to the payment date.
Will we be able to make donations for special or extra collections throughout the year?
You will still continue to receive monthly contribution envelopes by mail and will, therefore, receive all of the envelopes for special collections.
My family likes to put something into the offering basket each week when we attend Mass.
How will we do that if we sign up for E.F.T.?
As stated above, you will continue to receive envelopes by mail each month. If you are an E.F.T. contributor, we encourage you to write “E.F.T. Family” on the front of your envelope and place your empty envelope in the offering basket as usual.
You can sign up for E.F.T. starting today. Authorization forms are available in the vestibule of the church, in the Church Office or you may print the enrollment form here. Return the form to the CTK Church Finance Office, by mail, drop it off or place it in the collection basket in an envelope marked “EFT.”
