A Message From The Pastor
As you can easily notice – construction continues on our campus. We should anticipate that there will be some disruption to the normal flow of things and to our schedule from time to time. My apologies for any inconvenience, and I hope that these interruptions will be few in number.

National Vocation Awareness Week
November 2 – 8, 2014
National Vocation Awareness Week is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations through prayer and education.  God calls us all to live our faith and seek out our vocation to become a deacon, priest, religious sister, married or single person. Perhaps God is calling you to the priesthood or consecrated life. Will you have the courage to follow your heart? National Vocation Awareness Week is a special time for reflection, and we are all encouraged to pray for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.

Let us also pray for men and women who are discerning their vocation, especially our CTK parishioners Stephen Hart, Patrick Friend, Joseph DeOrbegozo, Stephen Elser, Jon Miskin, Joseph Friend, Alex Booth, Brian Cundall, Daniel Wendel, Ben Riley, Chandler Donaldson, and Brother Jacob Wisenbaker. Encourage them in their pursuit of God’s personal call by joining the CTK MOMMS Prayer Watch to pray for the intentions of each seminarian. Sign up to receive the Vocations Chalice to pray for vocations at Christ the King.

As the weather gets cooler and you begin cleaning out the hall closet . . . please help keep children and adults warm this winter by donating new or gently-used jackets and coats to the Christ the King’s Annual Coat Drive!

From November 1 to December 1, Hangers Cleanershas offered to clean the donated coats free of charge! Your donations may be dropped off at any of the seven Hangers locations . . . be sure to let them know it’s a donation for the CTK Coat Collection . . . or take your donations to the church or school no later than December 1. Thank you for your continued generosity!
